Chores you hate once you run a business

Monotonous work life results into a deep chaos especially for the ones running a business. Long working hours, tight packed schedules and lack of social life is not unheard of. When the working adult is juggling between the questions of how to manage things back and forth, one thing that continues to stay in the back of their heads are the household chores. They might consider it to be the least of their priorities, but no one actually wants a huge list of tasks awaiting to be completed.
Here is a story about Surya, a 22 old young entrepreneur owning an art academy in Mumbai. Careful observation of his lifestyle made us realize how we, as a company made his life a lot easier by carrying out a certain tedious tasks while he was away, trapped in his work.

  • Sending/Receiving payments from clients
While he tried his best taking care of everything, one thing that he wasn’t able to do since long was to collect money from his far-away clients .It was something that had been keeping him awake over the night because he wasn’t able to cross this off the to-do list. On hearsay from his friend about Russsh, a delivery service in Mumbai, he contacted us and sought a solution. We were able to collect and send cash/cheques from/to his clients and notifying him for the same.
  • Grocery Shopping
He despised grocery shopping despite the continuous visual reminders by his empty fridge each time.  The best fix was to outsource the job from us. All he did was to send us a list and we did all buying and delivering of groceries for him. Also, delivery of a huge smile too.
  • Pay the bills
This one was on the top of his list. Now, while he was busy holding exhibitions here and there, he didn’t want to worry about his several unpaid bills. We assisted him by physically pay them in an effortless way. Post the job, he thanked us with an expression of major relief and gratitude.
  • Document delivery
With new admissions in the academy every day, the documents on his desk piled up day by day that awaited delivery to the students homes’ as soon as possible. What we did was to pick up documents from the academy and deliver it to a number of 15 students safely in a matter of time.
  • Art equipment
Surya ordered a bulk of sheets, thermacols, charts, stationary etc. from a store that didn’t provide delivery and required him to physically go and collect it by himself. Needless to say, he just did it through us saving an ample amount of his precious time. Much obviously, it was a fragile bunch of equipment.

Above is a list of certain errands that he couldn’t afford to avoid, despite how busy his schedule was. Through this article, my aim was to communicate this wonderful experience of both the sides and how technology can never cease to amaze.
