Spring girls names are great at showing the color, beauty and sweetness of the season.

Flora: When you can’t  choose between flower names like Rose or Daisy, this is a cute alternative that encompasses them all. Latin for “flower” it was also the name of the Roman goddess of springtime and flowers. What better name for your blossoming new girl?

Aurora: Another beautiful name for a Roman Goddess. Aurora was the goddess of the morning. This name would be perfect for spring as it is the time of year when new life dawns.

Roxana: Though more obscure in the US, Roxana is a very popular name in its homeland of  Romania. This pretty name means “bright” or “dawn” making it great for a sunny little girl. 

Leilani: Straight from the islands of Hawaii, Leilani means “heavenly flower”. Perfect for a blessed baby girl this unique Hawaiian name is both beautiful in word and meaning,

Elowen: This sweet name is relatively recent. Meaning “elm” it comes from the Cornish Language and grew along with the revival of Cornish heritage in the 20th Century. Still a rare find it will make a beautifully unique name for a girl. 

Fern: A cute, short name it was is the name of both the plant and a much loved character in Charlotte’s Web. However it’s still a very unique baby name that you definitely won’t hear everyday!

  

Boy Names:

When you want a boys name just look to the wild. These names showcase spring’s great outdoors.

Forrest: Coming from an English surname referring to a person who lived near a forest. This outdoorsy name made a slight increase in popularity after the 1994 movie “Forrest Gump” but has remained a very unique for a boy.

Leif: Though this Old Norse name originally means “heir or descendant” its similarity to the English word “leaf” gives it a woodsy vibe that works great for a spring baby boy.

Ash: From the ash tree, this name is looked  over a bit nowadays in favor of the girl name Ashley but it and variants like Ashton and Asher are still great names for boys.

Flint: A very masculine name it evokes the hardness of the rock it’s named after. This nature inspired yet tough guy name is on the rise lately but still very unique.

Ranger: An occupational name for one who guards the forest, this great boy’s name is very in touch with nature. Perfect for a baby boy born in the spring.

Xavier: This name (meaning “bright”) is growing in popularity among parents. It’s destinctive being one of the few names starting with X and great for a sunny little boy! 

Gender Neutral:

Here are some bonus spring names the work for boys or girls.

Rowan: A bit more popular with girls than boys, this great Irish name means “little redhead” and came from the rowan tree and it’s red berries.  A cute name for any boy or girl but specially fitting for a spring redhead. 

Robin: Meaning “bright fame” this name is popular both for the bird and the famous Robin Hood character. Whichever your reason for choosing it, Robin makes a great nature inspired name for spring.

Vale: If you want a really unique name Vale might be the one. Short, cute and coming from the word “valley” its goes perfectly with the springtime nature theme.
